Today we gathered with some of our Open Door family for a leader's training & prayer time. Kelly prepared the most wonderful Advent reading and activity for all of the kids.
We lit the joy candle, the third of Advent, and learned about the symbolism of candy canes. Tyler read the Christmas story to us all from the Bible.
It was so great to see our kiddos all gathered, together with their church family, learning (and teaching us adults) about the God who sent his Son at Christmastime. A highlight of our week!
