I did it. I remembered. 10 on 10, baby!*
After dropping Maddie off at Little Peanuts day camp, Sam and I hit the Iron Horse Trail for a run. He could hardly contain his coolness:
About a third of the way through my run, I happened upon these cuties:
One of my recent prayers has been that God would grant Ben and I the privilege of growing old together. I tear up every time I see something like this. (And thank goodness for distractions on my run; yesterday I completed an all-time record of 5.8 miles!)
We picked Maddie up and headed over to the park for lunch and an hour of playtime before nap. Maddie went straight for the sand:
Sam (who peed through his clothes at Target) went straight for this apparatus and climbed up without a hitch. Yikes.
After a long, restful nap, we headed to the back yard for snack time:
Maddie's eyes are changing. They used to be brown with flecks of green but are changing to be more hazel-y green with flecks of brown. Add to that the dark blue rims. Cool:
Mr. Eyelashes himself:
Summer craft: shrinky bead necklace thing (and extra canning jar lid suncatcher, just because I can):
Ta-da!
Dinner, made from the few edible items in my house:
Quinoa with pattypan squash, peas, corn, red pepper, tomatoes, parmesan and toasted pine nuts.
*not posted on the 10th because I have this crazy OCD when it comes to the blog being in chronological order. You absolutely needed to hear about Sabbath before you heard about the 10th. Order, people.

Way to go on your 5.8 mile run in record time!!!! That.is.AWESOME!
What a fun set of pictures! OCD is funny...my kind of OCD is that 10 on 10 has to be posted on the tenth (and that chronological stuff can be bumped because of that! hahaha!)
